Tourism Information
PQikiqtarjuaq ("big island") Marine wildlife, scenery and
access to Auyuittuq National Park draw visitors to Baffin
Island's eastern coast. Sightings of icebergs, whales, seals
and seabirds are common. Outfitters offer boat, dogteam and
snowmobile tours, and provide transport to the northern
trailhead for Auyuittuq. Those planning on entering the park
must register with the local park office.
